The Rise JR - along with the Blaze JR - is the first junior ski with 3D Radius Sidecut and an excellent choice for young ski touring enthusiasts. Of course, matching skins and accessories are also available for the Rise JR, and when paired with Marker touring bindings such as the Alpinist JR, it really is the perfect setup if you want enjoyment from day one.
The extremely versatile, lightweight JR skis also perform well on the slopes, but clearly show their strengths in the backcountry, both on the approach and on the descent. These skis can handle all types of terrain and snow types, and you can safely make turns even in broken or wind-compressed snow. The skis are impressive for their tremendous maneuverability, in tight terrain or on forest runs. Thanks to the Tip & Tail Rocker, even at slower speeds it needs little force to initiate a turn. Once you pick up speed, the Rise JR impresses with its smooth ride and stability in long turns.
